Fishing Tackle Box The Rapala Shad Rap Way

Everyone is going to have their own idea about this, but I am going to try to put together the

perfect Rapala Shad Rap tackle box for any weekend angler. You want to make sure it is compact, comfortable to carry and durable from bouncing around in a truck or having it dropped on the ground. Make sure the box has clear covers and my personal liking has two sides. Be sure the latch will keep things secure. Do not go to small as we must put in enough tackle to handle any fishing situations that come up.

Selecting your tackle. You'll want a good selection of hooks (small to large), snap swivels (small to large), some fingernail clippers for cutting line easy, a pair of mini needle nose pliers (they come in very handy) a small first aid kit for the cuts and punctures and some sort of small multi tool you can carry on your belt.

Now, I'm only talking about going for the day or the afternoon, maybe two, so we can keep it lite. Make sure you have some extra Trilene XL, eight pound is what I use for respooling and carry along a nylon stringer for all those catches.

As you can see by my site here I love Rapala Shad Rap assortment lures. You can get them in deep, medium, shallow or surface and for those hard to reach weedy areas as well. Bass, bluegill, catfish, northern pike, crappie and walleye will all be on your line using the Rapala Shad Rap lure assortments. You just can't go wrong carrying these lures in you tackle box.

Oh yeah, before I forget, if you are doing any live bait fishing, throw in a number of bobers. Have fun fish'n.
